Dr. Christopher “Chris” Lockett is the founder and principal executive coach for Elite Performance Executive Coaching and Consulting Services (EPECC). His background in organizational operations, account management, logistics advising, and military leadership informs his mindful yet competitive approach to coaching and consulting.
Chris is fueled by his passion for the science and scholarly understanding of leadership and ethics as a vital part of life. He considers himself a “student for life”; eager to build his academic foundations in executive leadership and be a confidant to those who want to create epic businesses.
His hunger for knowledge started from his humble beginnings as a child that lived in poverty, experienced the foster care system, and overcame various acts of violence. Chris knows what it means to make tough decisions and take the necessary risks to achieve a dream.
Chris served 18 years in the United States Army. He holds a bachelor’s degree from American Military University, a master’s degree, an Executive Strategic Leadership Certificate, and is currently completing his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership (DSL) with Liberty University. Chris doctoral research focus is on organizational ethics.
Chris has led teams that range from two to over 500 members. Over the past ten years, Chris has helped small business owners launch their businesses and expand into reputable franchises. Christopher has a wealth of experience assisting organizational leaders with risk mitigation, vision/goal alignment and business plan development for the self-employed. Outside of paid professional experiences and education, Chris regularly volunteers to help non-profits in the community.
Chris believes family is critical to one's success. Family means various things to different people, but closeness and authenticity are fundamental to every family unit. When you add EPECC to your team, you join a family that believes in you and want to see you grow from being good to being epic!
